Retail Cashier

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Retail Cashier to process purchases accurately and provide efficient service at the checkout. The ideal candidate should have good numerical skills, handle payments responsibly, and maintain a friendly approach when assisting customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process cash, card, and other authorized customer payments accurately.
• Scan products, complete transactions, and issue receipts.
• Handle cash responsibly and maintain accurate cash register records.
• Assist customers with basic questions, pricing concerns, and checkout issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Report transaction discrepancies, pricing errors, or cash differences to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mathematics and cash-handling skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Strong attention to detail, honesty, and reliability.
• Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred.
